Sanford Evans

Sanford “Sandy” Evans, 84, Tunkhannock, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his residence. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Richard and Mabel Carr Evans and was a graduate of Hanover High School.

Sanford was a florist by trade.  He was also a ski instructor and a Hanover Township Commissioner.

Sanford is survived by his wife Maryann, at home. Sons, Celwyn Evans and his wife Laura, Reading, Daryn Evans and his wife Nancy, Conklin, NY. Grandchildren, Morgan and Llewellyn Evans.
