Sonja Patterson

Sonja A. Patterson, 83, Dallas, formerly of Harrisburg, passed away, Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at her residence in Dallas. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Victoria Bucher Rogic and was a graduate of Harrisburg Catholic High School class of 1955 and St. Joseph’s Hospital school of Nursing in 1959.

Sonja was a Registered nurse with The Harrisburg Hospital and later retiring from Bonham’s Nursing Center, Stillwater. She was an avid reader and book lover as well as a crossword puzzle aficionado.  Always completing the expert crosswords in ink.

Sonja lived for her grandchildren, she was a very devoted and much-loved grandmother.

Sonja was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Drue Patterson, Jr. surviving are her daughters, Kellee Corra and her husband Matthew, Kelayres, Pa. Vicki Cragle, Dallas. Sons, Mark Patterson and his wife Lori, Benton, and Matthew Patterson and his wife Beth, Sweet Valley. Grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, and Brody Cragle and Chase Patterson. Great Granddaughter, Arianna Beck.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Therese’s Church, 64 Davis Street, Shavertown, with The Rev. James Paisley, pastor, St. Therese’s Church, officiating. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H.
