Steven Morenko, 85, of Dallas, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Edwardsville, son of the late Joseph and Mary Zipko Morenko. Steven was a graduate of Edwardsville High School class of 1945. He was a Past President of the Wilkes Barre YMCA, President of The Wyoming Valley Auto Dealers, Board of Director's for Clem-Mar House in Dallas. He was the owner and operator of Motor Twins in Kingston for over 20 years and a member of the Ford Advertising Agency. Steven was preceded in death by his wife the former Irene Makowski in March of 2013 a Son, Jeffrey, Brothers, Joseph, George and Michael, Sisters, Mary Lane, Ann James and Helen Hughes. Memorial service will be Friday January 10, 2014 at 11 am at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas with the Rev. Daniel Toomey Celebrating and Rev. Gerald Gurka, Concelebrating. Friends may call Friday from 10 am until time of service. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Dallas. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
