Thomas James Davis

     Thomas James Davis, 76, Wilkes-Barre, passed away, Monday, May 20, 2024 at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Pittston, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Helen McCabe Davis and had attended Hughestown Schools. 

    Tom was affiliated with Commonwealth Telephone in the Maintenace Department until his retirement. Some of his favorite activities were traveling with family and friends, big game hunting all over the world, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors. Some of his fondest memories were enjoying the company of his friends at Odyssey Fitness, Grotto Pizza, and Leggios.  Tom’s quick wit and generous nature were some of his best attributes.  He enjoyed many adventures throughout his life with his great friends Jim Harkins, Tom Tobin, among many others.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Patrick, Teddy and Billy Davis. Surviving are his brothers, Kenneth Davis, Colorado and Bobby Davis, North Brunswick, NJ.

     Memorial services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA. Friends may call Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Online condolences may be made at Disquefuneralhome.com.
