Veronica Spears

Veronica K. Spears, 99, Wilkes-Barre, passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at Highland Manor, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Glen Lyon, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Veronica Matsko Kuhar and was a graduate of Swoyersville High School and had attended Westside Vocational Technical school.

Veronica was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. She was a Paralegal with Children and Youth, Wilkes-Barre before her retirement. Some of her favorite activities was playing Bridge.

Veronica was preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 1998. Surviving are her daughter, Marti Fredsall and her husband John, Rockville, NY. Son, Arthur Spears, Dallas. Grandchildren, Jessica Fredsall, Ryan and A.J. Spears. Sister, Martie Ciaruffoli.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612 with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
