William Ostroski

William H. "Billy" Ostroski, 61, Kingston, passed away, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Manor Care Nursing Center, Kingston, surrounded by his family. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late John L. and Alma Heller Ostroski of Kingston and Edwardsville. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. Billy attended Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Billy worked at Roth American, Juvenile Products, and Liberty Throwing Company. Billy's greatest love besides his family and pets were fishing at Harveys Lake and Francis Slocum State Park, Trains, Astrology, star gazing and collecting cans. Billy had a very kind heart and donated to several organizations and especially to The Red Cross. Preceding him in death besides his parents, were a sister, Debbie Davis and brothers, John, Mike, Steven, and Thomas. Surviving are sisters, Judy Newhart, Edwardsville, Carol Carrol, Dallas, Brothers, George Ostroski, Kingston, Joe Ostroski, Shavertown, several nieces and nephews. Billy's family would like to thank Dr. Richard Huntington, Dr. Almaki, Manor Care, Heartland Hospice, and Brenda Walley for their care and love of Billy. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 10:00 Am at Gate of Heaven Church, 42 Machell Ave., Dallas with The Rev. Daniel Toomey, officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 am until time of service at the Church. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
