William Piekanski

February 21, 1986 — January 8, 2017

William Raymond Piekanski, 30, of Tunkhannock, passed away, Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his residence. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late William J. Piekanski and Loni and Charly Zardus. He was a graduate of Lake Lehman High School. He formerly worked with McCarroll Construction and currently worked as a Masonry Contractor with B & M Masonry, Dallas, and also worked at Varsity Lawn Care. Billy liked spending his time skiing, playing pool, riding quads and riding bikes, from BMX to Motocross. He also liked hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his dogs "Rigor" and "Desy". He was preceded in death by His Grandparents Charles Hillard and Ray and Betty Piekanski. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Loni Piekanski, Atlanta GA., and Grandmother, Jean Hillard, Dallas. Billy also had numerous beloved Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Funeral will be held Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with John Doerfler, officiating. Friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 Pm. Interment will be in St Vincent's Cemetery, Plymouth. In Lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Blue Chip Farms Animal Refuge, c/o 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, Pa. 18612.
