William F. Wallo, Sr.

William F. Wallo, 88, of Dallas, passed away, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Dallas, he was the son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Polacky Wallo and was a graduate of St. Mary's High School and Kings College with a degree in Biology graduating in 1950. He was the owner. operator of his contracting business, W. F. Wallo Construction Co. Inc., retiring in 2006. He was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. William was a Veteran of WW II and a member of Daadow Isaacs Post 672 American Legion, Dallas.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Wallo and sisters, Mary Beaner and Vi Rosnell. Surviving are his wife the former Frances Wentzel, daughters, Patti Lynn and her husband David, Atlanta, Mary Ann Pierce and her husband Robert, St. Louis, Wendy Michaels and her husband Cade, Largo Fla., Sons, William Wallo, Jr., and his wife Julie, Atlanta, Timothy Wallo and his wife Sharon, Atlanta, Joseph Wallo and his wife Kelly, Atlanta, Michael Wallo and his wife Oleksandra, Kansas City, Stephen Wallo and his wife Jessica, Dallas. 7 Grandchildren. Brother C.J. Wallo and his wife Nancy.

Funeral will be held Monday, January 4, 2016 at 9:30 am at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Dallas. Friends may call Sunday from 3 until 5 pm at the funeral home.
