Wilma Goos

Wilma V. Goos, 91, Yallick Farms, Dallas, passed away, Monday, March 5, 2018 at her residence.  Born in Dortmund, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Marie Barthel Flukert.

Wilma was a housewife and stayed at home to raise her children. She was a member of River of Life Ministries in Lehman as well as The German International Club of Schuylkill County. Some of her favorite hobbies was gardening cooking, and crocheting. She enjoyed the busy hands ministry that crocheted items for chemotherapy patients and homeless shelters.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Karl in 2010 and a son Thomas Goos in 2015. Surviving are her daughters, Yvonne Rostock, of Larksville and Monica Goos of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Grandchildren, Johnathan, Ellen, David Goos. Sister Anna Leisel Nispel, Germany.

Funeral will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:30 AM at The River of Ministries, Lehman with the Rev. Ken Kreller, pastor River of Life Ministries, officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 AM until time of service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
