Winifred M. Fleming

 Winifred A. Fleming, 75, Dallas, passed away, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Edris Crane Spencer and attended the Dallas, Lake Lehman and Tunkhannock Schools. 

 Winifred was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. She had retired from Weis Markets in the Deli Department. She had been employed by ENCON for some time and Social Security and The Bureau of Labor and Wages. Winifred was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Daddow Isaacs American Legion Post #672, Dallas. Family was very important to her and spending time with them was utmost in her life.

 She was preceded in death by her parents as well as brothers, Willard (Jerry) and Kenneth Spencer. Surviving is her husband of 55 years, Charles Fleming at home. Daughters, Patricia Brace, Harveys Lake, Staci Shedletsky and her husband David, Dallas. Sons, Charles Fleming, Jr., Luzerne and Douglas Fleming, Dallas. 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews. A brother, Ronald Spencer and sisters, Barbara Sidorek and Betty Rusnock. 

 Funeral services will be held, Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa 18612, with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
